Naz’s experience in the travel and tourism industry spans the globe. He started his career with Airtours PLC in Spain and then moved to Jamaica, where he managed the company’s assets on the island for two years.
Naz then joined Holiday Autos in the UK, developing the business in France, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, the USA and Australia. He was instrumental in the development of the General Sales Agent network, which provided him valuable exposure to South America, Asia, the Middle East and Russia. Following the sale of Holiday Autos to Lastminute.com plc in 2003 Naz became a Director of that business with responsibility for international development.
In 2005 Naz moved to Dubai and launched a joint venture business with Lastminute.com as well as a travel PR and Marketing business, Gulfeps. These businesses continue to grow and be successful and in 2011 Naz joined LivingSocial to develop their Escapes travel business in the Middle East. Most recently Naz has moved to Singapore to head the travel division of LivingSocial in Asia.
Naz has 2 children, enjoys boxing, and diving, is a fluent Arabic speaker and prior to moving to Singapore was one of only three known Blackpool FC fans in Dubai. He has yet to find like minded Blackpool fans in Singapore.
