About ITB Asia ITB Asia, the Trade Show for the Asian Travel Market, made its debut in Singapore in 2008. A three-day B2B trade show and convention, it is the leading platform for international exhibitors of all sectors of the travel-value chain, Asia Pacific's leading companies and emerging small and medium-sized enterprises to meet and trade with top buyers from the MICE, Leisure and Corporate Travel markets. Apart from the ITB Asia Exhibition which features the full range of travel products, services and good, ITB Asia also functions as a knowledge platform for the industry. Each year in March, more than 110,000 trade visitors come each year to see over 11,000 exhibitors from over 180 countries and regions. Numbers That Matters Messe Berlin’s expertise and track record has ensured the success of ITB Asia. An independent survey after ITB Asia 2009 showed that over 45% of buyers said they had signed business deals during the show. In the survey* of 190 exhibitors, 262 trade visitors and 309 buyers, 74% of exhibitors reported a favourable impression of the show. Nearly 85% said they would recommend participation to other colleagues. Over 88% of exhibiting companies said they intended to participate at ITB Asia 2010. Over 6,100 attendees including 553 invited buyers attended ITB Asia 2009. Exactly 84% said that they had a good overall impression of ITB Asia. Over 90% said they would recommend it to industry colleagues. Slightly more than 85% said they would visit ITB Asia 2010.
